What the service offers

These are the current product’s capabilities and limits, so you can decide whether to purchase.

Free reading
Full preview of supported PDFs and invoices, with the OpenP7M watermark.
Paid export
€1.99 once per source file, with no subscription. Includes the available outputs for that file without the service watermark. Pricing details.
Supported documents
P7M containing a PDF or FatturaPA FPR12/FPA12 XML invoice; also direct XML invoices. Invoices must have a single body and no embedded attachments. Invoice guide.
Technical limits
One file at a time, up to 20 MiB and five nested P7M containers. No batch processing. Encrypted or damaged files, or other embedded formats, may not open.
Original and reading copy
For P7M containing a PDF, we extract the original PDF bytes. XML.P7M gives you the original XML and a reading PDF; direct XML gives you a reading PDF. Always keep your source file.
No signature verification
Reading content or displaying a certificate does not prove a signature is valid. OpenP7M does not verify signature integrity, trust chains, revocation or legal validity.

Two repeatable examples, without personal documents

The examples are created for demonstration with fictional data. They are not customer testimonials or documents for tax compliance.

Example 1: XML invoice

Choose the “XML” example in the reader. You will see an invoice from Studio Aurora - esempio, number ESEMPIO-001, with one EUR 10.00 item, EUR 2.20 VAT and a EUR 12.20 total.

Download the sample XML

Example 2: the same invoice in P7M

Choose the “P7M” example. The sample container holds the same XML invoice: the reader should show the same amounts. This checks reading, not signature validity.

Download the sample P7M

You can read the examples without paying. The export button uses the normal per-file purchase: no purchase is needed to complete these checks.

How to inspect local processing

Document contents are processed in browser memory. You can observe the behavior using a fictional example and your browser’s developer tools:

  1. Open the Network tab before selecting the example and keep all requests visible.
  2. When you choose an example, the browser downloads that public file. When you select a file from your device, the reader opens it locally. The order-status request may transmit a file fingerprint, not the file contents.
  3. Inspect the data sent in requests: the document, filename, invoice lines and certificates should not appear in payloads. Scripts, fonts, order status and analytics are not document uploads.

This is an observable check of the workflow, not independent security certification. Orders and payments require metadata; analytics and support serve separate purposes. Data processing notice.

Help us improve with specific feedback

Tried the reader? Tell us what worked and where you got stuck, even if you did not purchase. Include your device, browser, file type and error message, without attaching documents or confidential data.

You can share your experience in your own words. We do not offer benefits in exchange for positive reviews, and will not publish your message as a testimonial without your consent.

Send feedback or ask for help

We do not keep a copy of your documents. We cannot reconstruct a lost original. To download a purchase again, use the same file and browser; contact support if you change devices.
